Ad hoc-Service: HAITEC AG Results 1999 ENGL

Ad-hoc Mitteilung übermittelt durch die DGAP. Für den Inhalt der Mitteilung ist allein der Emittent verantwortlich. —————————————————————————— HAITEC Group Increases Sales by 35.9% to DM 123.7 High value services more than doubled Number of employees since the IPO has more than doubled Revenue goal for 2000 raised to DM 200 Million German IT service provider HAITEC (listed at New Market) has increased its sales (IAS) in the past fiscal year (ending 12/31) by 35.9% to DM 123.7 million (Euro 63.2 million). Consolidated into these figures is the second half of the fiscal year of the acquired Ludwigsburger ICP GmbH. HAITEC, Inc. increased its sales by 18.6% to DM 108 million (Euro 55.2 million). Income from services is up 136% to DM 21.4 million (Euro 10.9 million) constituting 20% of total sales and putting it 11 percentage points above results from the previous year. High investment in personnel and tangible assets as well as high costs from underestimating the effects of Y2K problems led to an operative loss before taxes of DM 10.5 million (Euro 5.37 million). DVFA result per share in 1999 is DM -1,92 (Euro -0,98). The HAITEC Group expects a 60% increase in sales for the current fiscal year to DM 200 million (Euro 102.3 million), raising its planned sales of DM 176 million (Euro 90 million) at the time of its IPO in July 1999 by 13%. This increase owes to the distinct growth in demand in all three business divisions (CAE-Solutions, Network-Solutions, e-Business) since beginning of 2000, HAITEC’s success in staff recruiting (over 280 new employees since July 1999 to 480 today) as well as the integration of two acquisitions. HAITEC expects positive operative results in 2000, planning an EBT of approximately DM 5 million (Euro 2.58 million).
