The Board of Directors of Clariane S.E. co-opts Mr. Matthieu Lance as a Non-Executive Director of the Board

Paris, January 19, 2024, Clariane (CLARIA.PA – ISIN FR0010386334), announces today that, following the recommendation of the Compensation and Appointments Committee, the Board of Directors decided today to co-opt Mr. Matthieu Lance as Director of the Board, replacing Mr. Philippe Dumont, who resigned following his retirement from the Crédit Agricole group on December 31st 2023 for the remaining duration of the latter's mandate, i.e. until the end of the General Meeting which will be called to approve the accounts for the 2025 financial year. This cooptation, which takes effect today, will be subject to ratification at the next general meeting of shareholders. The Board of Directors thanks Mr. Philippe Dumont whose experience and discernment have contributed greatly to the debates and decisions of the Board during the years of his mandate.

Mr. Matthieu Lance began his career at CCF in 1994 in structured finance. In 1998, he joined Banque Lazard where he advised large industrial clients and investment funds in Mergers & Acquisitions. In 2007, he joined BNP Paribas as Managing Director Mergers & Acquisitions, successively responsible for the Chemicals, Aerospace, Defense and Automotive industrial sectors (2007-2012) then within the Mergers & Acquisitions France team (2012-2016). In 2016, Matthieu Lance joined Crédit Agricole CIB as Deputy Global Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, an activity of which he was appointed Co-Global Head at the end of 2019. Since March 2022, Mr. Matthieu Lance has been Deputy Investment Director, responsible for assets and participations at Crédit Agricole Assurances.
