Sophie Boissard is taking up her position as new Group's Chief Executive Officer of Korian
Korian, European leader of Ageing Well, announces that Mrs Sophie Boissard assumes her duty as Group's Chief Executive Officer on this Tuesday, the 26th of January 2016. She will implement the growth strategy of Korian. In particular, her objective will be to strengthen management structures and accelerate the roll-out of new offerings, while focusing the energy and skills of the teams on quality of service for residents and their families.
Mrs Sophie Boissard is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure and the Ecole Nationale d'Administration. After having held various positions in the public sector, notably at the State Council, she joined the Executive Committee of the SNCF group in 2008. She successively created and headed the management and development activity of train stations (Gares & Connexions business unit), before taking her position of Executive Vice President, Business Strategy and Development and moving on as CEO of SNCF Immobilier, the branch in charge of developing the group's real estate property and other holdings. During those years, she has demonstrated her ability in structuring new value-creating business groups, building partnerships and setting up and managing large teams and networks on multiple occasions.
