Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Kore Potash (AIM: KP2, ASX: KP2, JSE:KP2, A2X:KP2) (“the Company ”), the potash development company with 97%-ownership of the Kola and DX Potash Projects in the Sintoukola Basin, located in the Republic of Congo announces the appointment of Mr Amit Kamlesh Kumar Mehta as a nonexecutive director to the Board, nominated by Oman Investment Authority (“ OIA ”), with effect from 26 June 2024.

Mr Amit Kamlesh Kumar Mehta is the Senior Manager in the Private Equity team at Oman Investment Authority (OIA), the Sovereign Wealth fund of Oman. He oversees the diversified investments strategy covering the Metals and Mining investments, Renewables and Energy Transition sector. He has over 14 years of Private Equity and Investment Banking experience working across the New York and Middle East regions. His position within OIA gives him commercial and corporate perspectives that will be of value to Kore Potash.

Mr David Hathorn the Chairman of Kore Potash said: “ We welcome Amit to the Board and look forward to his contribution to the governance of the Company. In addition to OIA’s considerable investment to date, it continues to provide important support for the development of our potash projects in the Republic of Congo ”.
