Korab Resources Ltd (“ Korab ”, o r “ Company ”) ( ASX: KOR ) advises t h at it has resolved to rais e funds by way of a placement o f up to 2.5 M ln shares a t 2.9 cents e ach to un-r e lated exempt invest o rs. This plac e ment is to b e completed w ithin existin g 15% share placement c a pacity and n o share h older approv a l is required. The issue price of 2.9 cen t s per share i s approximat e ly 11% belo w 5 day v olume weighted average p rice and approximately 17% below the l ast traded pr i ce of 3.5 cent per share. The Co m pany used a placement o f shares inst e ad of a pro- r ata share is s ue due to th e time c o nstraints, th e relatively s m all size of the issue and h igh cost of c onducting a p ro-rata issue. There is no commi s sion payabl e on this plac e ment. Fund s will be use d for working capital and t o reduc e debt.
