Divestiture of ePower

On November 24, Kongsberg Automotive and Preh GmbH announced that agreement had been reached to sell the ePower business unit from Kongsberg Automotive to Preh GmbH for an undisclosed price. Today, this transaction was concluded.

The ePower business unit is based in Sweden and has from its foundation in 2011 developed and manufactured on-board chargers for plug-in chargeable electric and hybrid vehicles. ePower directly employs 20 people in Gothenborg and Mullsjö.
