Zurich, June 2, 2022: Kongsberg Automotive (KA) has appointed Rolf Breidenbach and Mark Wilhelms to the company's Board of Directors (BOD) on June 2, 2022. Rolf and Mark will replace Peter Schmitt and Gerard Cordonnier, who have served KA`s BOD since 2019.
Rolf and Mark come to KA with decades-long experience in the automotive industry. Rolf holds a PhD in Engineering and a Master`s Degree in Business Administration from RWTH Aachen University. Rolf comes to the KA board with over two decades of experience working as a Partner in McKinsey & Company and as the Chief Executive Officer of Hella. Currently, he is the Non-Executive Director and Member of the Supervisory Board of Dürr AG, Germany.
Mark holds a Master`s Degrees in Business Engineering and Process Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Krefeld, Germany. He was the Director, Finance/Controller, Operations in Genk, Belgium at Ford Motor Company, and the Chief Financial Officer in FTE Automotive. He is the Chief Financial Officer at Stabilus, from where he will retire in September 2022. Mark is a Non-Executive Director (NED) and Member of the Supervisory Board of the NORMA Group, Germany, and of Novem Car Interior Design, Germany/Luxemburg.
