KONECRANES PLC - SUBSCRIPTION OF SHARES WITH KONECRANES PLC’S STOCK OPTIONS AND CHANGE IN HOLDING OF TREASURY SHARES

A total of 29,441 of Konecranes Plc's shares were subscribed for under the
company's stock options as follows:

The full subscription price of EUR 312,074.60 will be entered in the paid-in
capital.

In accordance with Konecranes Plc's Board of Directors' resolution, treasury
shares will be used for the share subscriptions. The subscribed shares will be
delivered to the subscribers on January 30, 2014 on the basis of which the
right to dividend and other shareholder rights shall commence. After the
subscription and delivery of the shares, Konecranes Plc holds 5,414,821
treasury shares.

Stock options issued under Konecranes Plc's ongoing stock option plans entitle
their holders to subscribe for a total of 1,457,450 shares.
