Konecranes Plc (ID 0942718-2) has today on June 4, 2010, received a disclosure
under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Securities Market Act, according to which the
holding of BlackRock, Inc. (USA Tax ID 32-0174421) in Konecranes has decreased
below 10 percent. BlackRock now holds 6,181,787 Konecranes' shares, which is
9.97 percent of Konecranes' shares and votes.

Konecranes has a total of 62,002,120 shares. The company has only one class of
shares and each share entitles to one vote.
