Anne Korkiakoski has been appointed Executive Vice President, Marketing & Communications at KONE Corporation

KONE Corporation, stock exchange release, June 27, 2008 Anne Korkiakoski, M.Sc. (Econ), has been appointed Executive Vice President, Marketing & Communications and Member of the Executive Board as of September 1, 2008. She will be responsible for KONE Corporation's Marketing, External and Internal Communications as well as Investor Relations. Korkiakoski will report to President & CEO Matti Alahuhta. Before joining KONE, Anne Korkiakoski has been working at Elisa Corporation where she has been responsible for External and Internal Communications and Marketing Communications. Previously, she has been Managing Director of the Finnish subsidiary of Euro RSCG, an international advertising and communications agency, as well as the company's director for the Nordic region. Minna Mars, currently responsible for KONE's Corporate Communication& Investor Relations, will move to the United States. She will be responsible for developing environmental communications in KONE's"Environmental Excellence" development program. Tuomas Kahri, currently Senior Vice President, Global Marketing & Quality at KONE Corporation, will start working as Head of Marketing and Communications at Hartwall.
