Briscoes Group Limited announcement

Kathmandu Holdings Limited acknowledges the announcement made by Briscoes Group Limited today stating the intention to lodge a takeover notice imminently in respect of a takeover offer comprising both cash and scrip to all Kathmandu shareholders.

Kathmandu has had no contact with Briscoes and will not make further comment about the imminent takeover offer at this stage.
