KCC: Extending one of the main caustic soda contracts of affreightment by 12 months

Oslo, 28 April 2020: Klaveness Combination Carriers ASA (“KCC”) has extended one of its main caustic soda contracts of affreightment (COA) by 12 months with commencement 1 July 2020. The COA covers the “wet” capacity of 1-1.5 CABU vessels for the period. KCC’s total fixed-rate tanker market coverage is around 90% for 2nd quarter 2020 and with this COA the coverage increases to around 60% for 2nd half of 2020 and around 20% for 1st half of 2021.
