Regional Environmental Protection Department of Klaipėda by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania on 22 October 2012 has granted development consent on construction and activities of Liquefied Natural Gas Import Terminal and Related Objects of Infrastructure in the southern part of Klaipėda State Seaport nearby Pig's back Island.
