CANCELLATION OF RIGHTS ISSUE
DataMotion Asia Pacific Limited ( DataMotion or “the Company” ) advises that it has elected to cancel the non-renounceable rights issue (Rights Issue) announced to market on 5 October 2011. The Company regrets that it was unsuccessful in obtaining a waiver of ASX Listing Rule 7.11.2 in relation to the minimum pricing of the Rights Issue and accordingly will not be proceeding with the offer. DataMotion hereby advises its security holders that the timetable as outlined in the Prospectus dated 4 October 2011 will not proceed.
The Company continues to review appropriate synergistic acquisition or investment opportunities relevant to the Company primary business of information technology solutions and will investigate alternative capital raising arrangements to assist in the progression of these opportunities.
