Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Kingsrose Mining Limited (ASX: KRM) (“Kingsrose” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Smith as Chief Financial Officer (“ CFO ”) effective 26[th] April 2021. Mark replaces Chloe Lam who, after 10 years with the Company, will step down from the CFO role.

Mark is an experienced executive with more than 20 years in financial and operational roles within the mining industry. Previous roles include CFO and Group Financial Controller for Centamin PLC (formerly Centamin Egypt Limited), a company listed on the LSE and TSX stock exchanges. At Centamin, Mark played an integral role in the development, construction and operation of the Sukari Gold Project as well as establishing exploration operations in Burkina Faso and Côte d’Ivoire. Mark has also held the positions of Commercial Manager for Endeavour Mining Ltd (TSX and ASX) and Lihir Gold Ltd (ASX, NASDAQ and TSX) both of which operated producing gold assets in West Africa.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) from the University of Queensland, is a Fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants, and a Chartered Company Secretary.
