REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

NiPlats Australia Limited (ASX:NIP) requests a trading halt to enable the completion
and release of a drilling analysis to provide up to date information to the market.

The Company expects to relasse the update prior to the commencement of trading on
Tuesday, 30 October 2007.

Trading halt to cease upon the release of the drilling analysis update to the market.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the halt should not be granted.
