DIRECTOR/PDMR SHAREHOLDING

Kier Group plc (the "Company") announces that today, Mr Paul Pethica, a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities, exercised 213 options under the Kier Group plc 2006 Sharesave Scheme, at an option price of £8.393 per share.  Following the exercise Mr Pethica transferred 213 shares in the Company to his wife, Kathryn Pethica, for nil consideration. 

As at the date of this announcement, Kathryn Pethica owns 988 shares in the capital of the Company (or 0.001% of the issued share capital). 

The total interest in the share capital of the Company owned by Paul Pethica, when aggregated with those interests of his connected person (Kathryn Pethica), is 7,036 shares (or 0.007% of the issued capital of the Company).
