Kid ASA - Revenues for the Third Quarter of 2021

Lier, 8 October 2021: Kid ASA today announces unaudited revenue figures for the third quarter of 2021 (previous year in brackets). For definition of like-for-like stores, please see latest quarterly report at www.investor.kid.no.

Group

Q3 revenues increased by +3.6% (+11.5%) to MNOK 750.7(MNOK 724.71). Like-for-like sales increased by +0.1% (+16.6%). Compared to 2019, like-for-like sales increased by +17.4%3.

Online sales accounted for 7.6% (6.9%) of total revenues in the quarter.

For the first nine months of 2021, group revenues increased by +5.6% (+10.9%) to MNOK 1,996.8 (MNOK 1,891,82). Like-for-like sales increased by +3.5% (+14.1%). Compared to 2019, like-forlike sales increased by +18.5%3.

Segment Kid Interior

Q3 revenues decreased by -3.9% (+22.1%) to MNOK 451.7 (MNOK 470.1). Like-for-like sales decreased by -7.1% (+20.9%). Online sales increased by +7.2% (+18.6%).

For the first nine months of 2021, revenues increased by +2.3% to MNOK 1,196.1 (MNOK 1,168.7). Like-for-like sales decreased by -0.6% (+15.5%). Online sales increased by +32.5% (+39.5%).

One store was relocated, and two stores were refurbished during the quarter. No stores were opened or closed. The total number of physical stores at the end of the quarter was 149 (143). The number of shopping days in the quarter was 79 (79).

Segment Hemtex

Q3 revenues increased by +17.4% (-3.7%) to MSEK 295.2 (MSEK 251.3). Like-for-like sales increased by +14.6% (+9.2%). Online sales increased by +18.4% (+45.8%).

For the first nine months of 2021, revenues increased by +10.7% to MSEK 794.6 (MSEK 717.8). Like-for-like sales increased by +10.9% (+11.9%). Online sales increased by +37.0% (+62.2%).

Two new stores were opened, and one store was relocated during the quarter. No stores were closed. The total number of physical stores at the end of the quarter was 132(130). The number of shopping days in the quarter was 92 (92).
