On 23 May 2012 the voting rights of Paul G. Desmarais, Canada, in KHD
Humboldt Wedag International AG exceeded the threshold of 3% and, as per
that date, amounted to 3.15% (corresponding to 1563301 voting rights). All
of such 3.15% (corresponding to 1563301 voting rights) are attributable to
Paul G. Desmarais pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG through
Nordex Inc., Gelco Enterprises Ltd., Power Corporation of Canada, 171263
Canada Inc., Power Financial Corporation, Great-West Lifeco Inc., The
Great-West Life Assurance Company, Canada Life Financial Corporation, The
Canada Life Assurance Company, Canada Life Capital Corporation Inc., Canada
Life International Holdings Limited, Canada Life Irish Holding Company
Limited, Canada Life Europe Investment Limited and Canada Life Assurance
Europe Limited which are controlled by Paul G. Desmarais and which hold or
are attributed 3% or more of the voting rights in KHD Humboldt Wedag
International AG.
