Mr Denis Gately joins the Board of KGL Resources Limited.

The Board of KGL Resources Limited ( ASX:KGL ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Denis Gately as an independent non-executive director. Mr Gately is one of Australia’s most experienced and respected energy and resources lawyers and has held a number of directorships in the resources sector.

Denis spent the majority of his legal career with Minter Ellison, serving as head of its National Energy and Resources Industry Group, a member of its National Board for 9 years and as Brisbane Managing Partner for 6 years until his retirement in 2010. He has led transactions in mineral and oil and gas operations and development projects, both domestic and international, as well as having extensive experience in associated infrastructure.

Denis has previously served as director of Gloucester Coal Limited, Alligator Energy Limited (chair), Xanadu Mines Limited (chair) and Resource Generation Limited (chair).

In announcing Denis’ appointment, KGL Chairman Mr Peter Hay said that KGL was fortunate to have Denis agree to join the board. “His experience will be extremely beneficial to the company at this stage of the development of the Jervois project”.

Mr Gately will commence on 13 December 2021 and will assume roles on both the Audit and Risk and Remuneration Committees.

This announcement has been approved by the directors of KGL Resources Limited.
