KGL Resources Appoints New Director

KGL Resources Limited (ASX code: KGL) (KGL or the Company) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Peter Hay as a Director of the Company.

Welcoming Mr Hay to the Board, the Chairman of KGL, Denis Wood, said Mr Hay’s in-depth mining experience and governance skills strengthened the Company as the Jervois Copper Project advanced towards development.

– “Peter’s skills and experience a mining engineer who has held CEO and other senior – executive management roles and board positions in the resources industry complement those of the other directors of KGL,” Mr Wood said.

Mr Hay has Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) and Bachelor of Commerce degrees, is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and is based in Brisbane. With over 30 years’ experience in the mining industry, he has held senior positions in some of Queensland’s largest resource companies, including General Manager of Pan Australian Mining Limited, Managing Director of Sedgman Limited and Joint Managing Director of Macarthur Coal Ltd.

Mr Hay has extensive experience as a non-executive director of companies including Sedgman Limited and Aston Resources Limited.
