Opening of proceedings to liquidate the closed-end non-public investmentfund KGHM III Fundusz Inwestycyjny Zamknięty Aktywów Niepublicznych

The Management Board of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. announces that on 28 June2016 the General Meeting of the closed-end non-public investment fundKGHM III Fundusz Inwestycyjny Zamknięty Aktywów Niepublicznych ("Fund"),resolved to dissolve the Fund.

KGHM Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych S.A. (KGHM TFI S.A.) with itsregistered head office in Wrocław is the liquidator of the Fund.Liquidation proceedings commenced on 28 June 2016, and it is expectedthat the liquidation process will be concluded by 30 September 2016.

On 29 June 2016, as a result of commencing liquidation proceedings, anapplication was submitted to amend the entry in the Register ofInvestment Funds, which is maintained by the Regional Court in Warsaw,Section VII Civil Registrations.

The sole participant in the Fund is KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.
