ANNOUNCEMENT

The board of directors (the “Board”) of Kerry Properties Limited (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that Mr. Lau Ling Fai, Herald has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 December 2003.

Mr. Lau, aged 63, has been practising as a certified public accountant in Hong Kong for over 30 years and has extensive experience in auditing, finance, taxation and administration. He was a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers, Hong Kong until his retirement on 30 June 2001. He is an independent nonexecutive director of Fairwood Holdings Limited. Mr. Lau is a Fellow Member of each of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and Hong Kong Society of Accountants.

The directors of the Company welcome Mr. Lau to join the Board.
