Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(b) On August 29, 2023, R. Clay Hulette notified Kentucky First Federal Bancorp (the “Company”) that effective January 2, 2024, he is retiring from his position as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company and his position as Frankfort Area President of its subsidiary First Federal Savings Bank of Kentucky. Following his retirement, Mr. Hulette will remain a director of First Federal Savings Bank of Kentucky. Mr. Hulette’s retirement is not the result of any dispute or disagreement with the Company.

A copy of the Company’s press release announcing Mr. Hulette’s retirement from the Company and its subsidiary First Federal Savings Bank of Kentucky is included as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
