PRESS RELEASE

KENDRION N.V.

18 DECEMBER 2008

Robert Bosch GmbH exercises its pre-emptive right to buy Servico. Kendrion sells Servico to Robert Bosch GmbH.

Kendrion announced on 26 November 2008 that it had reached an agreement with the British company Edmundson Distribution Limited and Claessen ELGB N.V. regarding the sale of its Distribution Services operations, consisting of the Vink Group and Servico. The Belgian company Servico was to be sold to Claessen ELGB N.V. In addition it was reported that Servico's main supplier, Robert Bosch GmbH (Bosch), was entitled until 18 December 2008 to exercise a pre-emptive right relating to the sale of Servico. Bosch exercised its right.

Servico's turnover in 2007 amounted to EUR 28 million and it employs 85 employees. Servico sells and distributes hot water boilers of the Bosch-brand Junkers on the Belgium market. Servico will be part of the division Bosch Thermotechnik.

In agreement with Bosch, further details on the selling price of Bosch will not be disclosed. De sale of Servico to Bosch has no consequences for the sale of the Vink Group to Edmundson Distribution Limited. The total transaction value (approximately EUR 94 million) and the book profit (approximately EUR 9 million) with respect to the sale of Distribution Services in total, as mentioned in our press release dated 26 November 2008, remain unchanged.

The transaction is expected to be finalised on short notice.
