UPDATE ON TRANSIT SYSTEMS MARINE ACQUISITION

SeaLink Travel Group Limited ( ASX: SLK ) ( SeaLink ) today announced that Transit Systems Marine has signed a long term marine transport contract with another of the gas plant operators on Curtis Island, Gladstone.

SeaLink’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Mr Jeff Ellison said: “This contract further secures Transit Systems Marine’s position in Gladstone as the pre-eminent marine transport provider”.

SeaLink entered into a contract to acquire 100 per cent of the Transit Systems Marine business in September for a purchase price of $125 million, including a deferred cash element of $3 million, if a particular transport contract was awarded.

With the signing of the contract, this element has now been satisfied.

It is anticipated that the Transit Systems Marine transaction will settle at the end of October 2015.
