CPH: Busiest month ever

Passenger numbers were up 5.1% in July, and Copenhagen Airport surpassed the
2.7 million passenger mark for the first time ever in a single month.

The unsettled Danish summer made record numbers of people from Denmark and
southern Sweden head for warmer climates for their summer holidays. This was
reflected in passenger numbers at Copenhagen Airport: the 2,727,691 travellers
marked a new monthly record.

"It was the first time in our 90-year history that we served more than 2.7
million passengers in a single month, and the figures show that both European
and intercontinental routes attracted sun-starved Danes," said Thomas Woldbye,
CEO of Copenhagen Airports A/S.

In earlier years, we have seen a few peak travel days, but this year's traffic
was spread on several days. The months of June and July saw 20 days with more
than 90,000 passengers. Last year, there were only six days with such high
passenger numbers, and in 2010 Copenhagen Airport had not yet had days of more
than 90,000 passengers.

In 2015 to date, as many as 15,073,230 passengers have travelled through
Copenhagen Airport, which represents a 0.8% increase over the same period of
2014.
