CPH: Continued growth in passenger numbers

Copenhagen Airport topped two million passengers in May, which is a record for
the month of May. The growth rate was 7.1% on the same month of last year. The
year-to-date increase in passenger numbers was 10.8%.

The total number of passengers at Copenhagen Airport in May was 2,031,908. This
was the first time the number of passengers exceeded 2 million in May.

“We generated growth on most fronts and the number of passengers was almost
90,000 higher than in May 2008, which held the previous record for the month of
May. Especially traffic to the Middle East saw significant growth, and with the
coming non-stop services to Bahrain and Dubai scheduled to open in the next
couple of months, we have a basis for continued growth on the Middle East,”
said Carsten Nørland, VP, Sales and Marketing for Copenhagen Airport.

The number of international passengers increased by 7.6%, domestic traffic grew
by 3.1%, whereas the number of transfer passengers was down by 2.4% year on
year. Overall, 8.6 million passengers used Copenhagen Airport during the first
five months of the year, equivalent to a growth rate of 10.8%.

London is still the biggest destination out of Copenhagen, ahead of Stockholm
and Oslo. New in the top ten this month is Brussels.
