AB Kauno Energija acquired the shares of UAB Petrašiūnų Katilinė

In pursuance of the decision of the Management Board of AB Kauno Energija of June 16, 2016 No. 2016-12-5 “Regarding acquisition of the shares of UAB Petrašiūnų Katilinė and approval of the project of purchase – selling agreement”, AB Kauno Energija and UAB E energija signed an agreement on June 23, 2016 on acquisition of the shares of UAB Petrašiūnų Katilinė. Shares acquisition transaction is being considered accomplished on October 27, 2016 after clearance of merger that has been made by the Competition Council of the Republic of Lithuania on October 10, 2016 by which AB Kauno Energija acquired 100 per cent of UAB Petrašiūnų Katilinė. UAB Petrašiūnų Katilinė operates 19.2 MW capacity biofuel burned boiler-house, situated in R. Kalantos str. 49, Kaunas. The final price of 100 per cent of the shares is EUR 1,894 thousand (one million eight hundred ninety four thousand euros).
