Karnataka Bank to emerge as ``Dirital Bank of Future"

Leading Private sector lender Karnataka Bank today held its 97th Annual General Meeting at its Head office, Mangaluru through video conferencing (VC)/ Other Audio Visual Means (OAVM) in the backdrop of Covid - 19 pandemic.

While addressing the shareholders of Kamataka Bank at its 97th Annual General Meeting held through virtual platform, the MD & CEO of the Bank Mr. Mahabaleshwara in.S has asserted that Karnataka Bank is now poised to emerge as the `Digital Bank of Future'.Powered by its IT driven wholistic transformation `KBL VIKAAS', Bank is now preparing for the second phase under 'KBL NxT' concept so as to have end-to-end digital solutions for all its banking activities. Further, Bank is celebrating its centenary year during 2023-24 and lot of IT driven innovative and far reaching initiatives to mark the celebration are already lined up so as to lay a strong foundation for the second century of the Bank. Bank has also declared a dividend of 18°/o" he said. The 97th AGM was held under the

chairmanship of Mr. P. Jayarama Bhat, Chairman of the Bank. All the Directors of the Bank, Executives, shareholders participated through the virtual forum.
