Vienna, 2 March, 2012. Kapsch TrafficCom AG (ISIN AT000KAPSCH9), listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange in the prime market segment, reports a contract award in France worth more than EUR 25 million.
Kapsch TrafficCom has concluded an agreement with Axxès, a leading French toll service provider, for the supply of on-board units (OBUs) and central solutions for the charging system based on the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technology, in view of the operations of the French truck taxation project called Ecotaxe, and with possible future extensions to other European Electronic Toll Service (EETS) domains. The total contract value is above EUR 25 million.

"This initial contract award also secures a significant contribution of Kapsch TrafficCom to the Ecotaxe project", Laux adds.
