VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT

PURCHASE OF SHARES IN THE COMPANY BY DA CHANG

Kaisa Group Holdings Ltd. (the “ Company ”) was informed by Da Chang Investment Company Limited (“ Da Chang ”), a company wholly-owned by Mr. Kwok Ying Shing (“ Mr. Kwok ”), an executive director and the chairman of the board of directors that on 26 August 2021 and 27 August 2021, Da Chang made on-market purchases of an aggregate of 7,900,000 shares of the Company (the “ Shares ”) at an average price of HK$2.51 per Share.

Da Chang’s latest increase in its shareholding demonstrates its continued support and confidence in the prospect of the Company and its subsidiaries.

Immediately after the purchases, Mr. Kwok is directly and indirectly interested in an aggregate of 1,781,469,738 Shares, representing approximately 25.39% of the issued share capital of the Company as of the date of this announcement.
