Appointment of Director and Board transition

Judges Scientific, the parent company of a group engaged in the design, manufacture and sale of scientific instruments, announces the appointment of Bradley Ormsby as an Executive Director and Group Finance Director designate, with effect from today.  Ralph Cohen will be standing down from his position as Group Finance Director on 30 April 2015 but will remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director, thereby enabling the Company to continue to benefit from his insight and experience. 

Brad brings with him significant senior finance and operational experience acquired during nine years at PwC followed by six years at Eurovestech plc, the pan-European development capital fund, and associated companies. Brad played a primary role at Eurovestech through the provision of transactional and operational leadership to several technology businesses within the fund's portfolio. Prior to joining Judges Scientific, he was Chief Financial Officer at Kalibrate Technologies Plc, supplier of strategy and technology solutions to the global fuel retail industry (AIM: KLBT), where he was actively involved in the company's successful IPO. Brad is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified with PwC where he worked with a range of blue chip companies and small and medium-sized enterprises before joining Eurovestech.

It is the Board's intention to grant him options over a total of 60,000 Ordinary shares in the Company following publication of the 2014 financial results.
