REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES INTO TREASURY

The Company announces that it has today purchased 135,574 ordinary shares into Treasury at 466.32 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 71,051,065 shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 210,582,845. The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
