REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES INTO TREASURY

The Company announces that it has today purchased 47,902 ordinary shares into Treasury at 449.50 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 67,013,035 shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 214,620,875. The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
