Completion of Portfolio Transition

Following the approval at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 2nd May 2019 of the new investment process for the Company's large-cap equity portfolio, to a higher-conviction approach combining the best ideas from JPMorgan Asset Management's US growth and value investment teams, the Board is pleased to announce that this element of the Company's portfolio has been transitioned to a portfolio reflecting the new investment process.

The monthly fact sheet prepared to the end of May, which will shortly be published on or around 21st June 2019, will reflect the new investment process.  Details of this process can be found in the Company's financial statements to 31st December 2018, which can be downloaded from the Company's website:  www.jpmamerican.co.uk.  The website also contains a presentation on the new process and a recorded interview with the new managers of the large-cap portfolio, Tim Parton and Jonathan Simon who are responsible for this element of the Company's portfolio from 1st June 2019.

The waiver of management fees, running for nine months, commenced on 1st June 2019. As set out in the announcement of the proposals on 20th March 2019, JPMorgan Asset Management is also meeting the transition costs incurred in the realignment of the portfolio.
