Sub: Update on expansion of 6 MnTPA interalia including 1 MnTPA at Prayagraj, UP - intimation under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to inform you that the Board of Directors in their meeting held on 20[th] January, 2024 had approved expansion of 6 MnTPA comprising – (1) brown field Expansion in clinker capacity by 3.3 MnTPA (Design - 10,000 TPD, Potential – 12,000 TPD) & cement grinding capacity by 3 MnTPA at Panna, Hamirpur and Prayagraj (1 MNTPA each) and (2) 3 MnTPA greenfield Cement grinding capacity in Bihar, to be commissioned in phases in 24 months from the date of start of work at site.

Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we are pleased to inform you that today we have commissioned 1.00 MnTPA cement grinding facility at JK Cement Works, Prayagraj, Unit: JK Cement Ltd.

With this the installed capacity of JK Cement Works, Prayagraj stands enhanced from 2.00 MnTPA to 3.00 MnTPA and the Company’s overall grey cement production capacity stands at 26.26 MnTPA (including capacity of its subsidiary company)
