Directorate Change - Appointment of non-executive Director

The Board of Jersey Electricity Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Simon as a non-executive Director with effect from 28th February 2019.

Peter is currently the Customer Product & Proposition Director for Centrica's UK Home business where he is responsible for the development and performance of products and customer experience across the energy and services offerings for the UK residential base covering a range of brands such as British Gas, Local Heroes and Dyno. Prior to joining Centrica, he worked at Barclays - most recently as Managing Director for Marketing, Analytics & Innovation, after several other roles across its retail, corporate and wealth businesses in strategy, transformation and leading the unsecured lending business. Prior to this he spent 15 years in strategy and M&A consulting, first with Deloitte and latterly with PwC Transaction Services (focused on strategy development for retail and corporate businesses and commercial due diligence across a range of sectors and geographies).

Peter has an MA in Physics & Philosophy from Oxford University and an MBA (distinction) from London Business School. He is a non-executive director for SmartEnergy GB.".
