MEDIA RELEASE – HALF YEAR RESULTS
JCurve Solutions Limited (ASX: JCS), an Australian business software and cloud‐based computing company, today said its net loss for six months ended 31 December 2013 narrowed to $237,712 compared with a loss of $391,059 in the previous corresponding period.
Revenue rose 10 percent to $5.15 million compared with $4.66 million a year earlier.
The company was formed by the recent acquisition of JCurve Solutions Pty Ltd by the listed telecommunications software group Stratatel Limited. The enlarged group was rebranded and renamed JCurve Solutions with the completion of the acquisition on 31 October 2013.
Earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) in the latest period was a loss of $252,512 compared with a gain of $749,000 a year earlier.
Excluding acquisition costs, one‐off and product development costs, EBITDA was a positive $480,404 in the latest period. The Managing Director of JCurve Solutions, Graham Baillie, said integration benefits arising from the recent acquisition are starting to be realised.
