Stratatel Announces FleetManager® Bill Reporting Contract with South African Telco

Leading Australian software and services company, Stratatel Limited (ASX: STE) announces a joint venture with Messrs Allen Hartley and Jeremy Davidson of Webhouse International. The Joint Venture has signed an exclusive 3 year contract with a South African Telco for the provision of Stratatel's proprietary FleetManager® bill reporting software and support services to its mobile and fixed line business and corporate customers in South Africa.

For Stratatel shareholders this contract represents a game changing opportunity with significant upside. Commenting on the deal, Stratatel CEO Mr Matt Parry said “this contract once again validates the quality of Stratatel’s FleetManager system as well as the support services capability of our partners Webhouse”

Key Aspects of the Deal

The Australian joint venture entity, Webhouse Software Pty Ltd, will be owned 50% each by Stratatel and Webhouse Software Solutions. The Joint Venture is a party to the contract for the provision of FleetManager® bill reporting software and South African based hosting and support services to the Telco’s customers in South Africa. The local South African support will be provided through the local South African Webhouse infrastructure. Under the terms of the Contract, there is an agreed minimum number of "units" (mobiles and fixed lines) to be added to the FleetManager® system over the period.

Joint Venture Partners

Messrs Hartley and Davidson have a successful track record in business in South Africa across a variety of industries including software development and support. Together they operate the Webhouse Software Group in South Africa providing leading software services.

Both Messrs Hartley and Davidson have had successful previous business dealings with Telco’s and are held in high regard more generally in the SA business community.
