STRONG SUPPORT FOR STRATATEL

Entitlement Issue ‐ Notification and allocation of shortfall

Stratatel Limited (ASX: STE) advises that acceptances under its pro‐rata non‐renounceable entitlement offer to raise approximately $1.15 million (before costs) ( Entitlement Issue ) closed at 5pm on Friday 2 October 2009.

The Company is pleased to announce that it has received overwhelming support for its Entitlement Issue with the offer being over‐subscribed by eligible shareholders taking up their Entitlements and applying for Additional New Securities under the shortfall.

Eligible shareholders have taken up 20,159,145 (approximately 87%) of the total New Shares (and attaching New Options) offered under the Entitlement Issue, leaving a shortfall of only 2,956,716 shares ( Shortfall Shares ). Holding statements for securities issued under the Entitlement Issue are being dispatched to shareholders today.

As a result of the strong take up of Entitlements, those shareholders applying for Additional New Securities will be scaled back significantly. The Shortfall Shares will be placed to eligible shareholders applying for Additional New Securities and the sub‐underwriters to the offer on a pro‐ rata basis.

Shortfall Shares will be allotted on Wednesday 14 October 2009 and refund cheques for Additional New Securities scaled back mailed to shareholders on or about 16 October 2009.
