Highlights

• JAT to open cornerstone retail outlet, ‘Jat Maternity and Children’ in Hui Yue Kid's City

• Three year shop lease, rent free

The Board of Jatenergy Limited (JAT) is delighted to announce it has entered into a binding agreement to open a retail outlet, ‘JAT Maternity and Children’ within ‘Hui Yue Kid's City’, a dedicated ‘one stop shopping’ destination for expectant mothers and the families of newborns through to children aged twelve.

Hui Yue Kid's City is part of the 80,000 square meter Hui Yue Shopping Mall opening in the next few months. The Kid's City will be the largest indoor children's themed shopping centre in Zhengzhou spanning 18,000 square meters over three levels.

“This is an unsurpassed opportunity for JAT to build its China presence and generate revenue,” JAT Director Mr. Wilton Yao said. “Hui Yue is a landmark shopping development in Zhengzhou, the capital city of Henan province which is home to around 100 million people.”

The Hui Yue Shopping Mall is owned by the Henan Sheng Rung Holding Group

Management Consulting Co., Ltd (Henan Xipu) a subsidiary of the Sheng Run Group.

Mr. Li has again demonstrated his unwavering support for JAT by offering a three year rent free period.

The Agreement with Henan Xipu provides as follows:

• There is an initial rent free term of three years, with a negotiated term from then on;

• JAT will fit out the shop;

• JAT to sell a wide range of products for infants, children and their mothers.

There are no conditions precedent contained in the agreement. As well as being rent free, there are no other payments to be made by JAT in relation to the store, and no other indirect benefits to be received by Henan Xipu or any JAT related parties.

JAT and Henan Xipu expect (but is not mandatory) that the current agreement will be replaced by a “Flagship Store Agreement”. This is an agreement whereby a tenant which has achieved success is offered shops in other Henan Xipu centres. If the first JAT store is successful, the entry into a Flagship Store Agreement will allow JAT to expand its China business by opening stores in other Henan Xipu centres.

JAT plans to offer its own-brand products in the new shop, together with those of other Australian and international producers, offering exceptional Chinese retail exposure to clients of JAT, and of soon-tobe-acquired Green Forest International Pty Ltd.
