Jatenergy appoints Ian Gebbie as Company Director

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Mr Ian Gebbie appointed as a director of Jatenergy

  • Mr Gebbie’s experience in public companies will provide Jatenergy’s shareholders with added value.

Jatenergy Limited (ASX:JAT) (“Jatenergy”, the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ian Gebbie to the board of Jatenergy. The board has been actively pursuing a new board member with experience in small‐cap ASX listed companies and Mr Gebbie has had a long history with corporate resource and energy projects.

He also brings a ready understanding of the operation of a public company and its requirements not only at a regulatory level, but more importantly at adding enterprise growth.

Executive Chairman Tony Crimmins stated, “We welcome Mr Gebbie to the board of Jatenergy. With his long experience in ASX energy and resources companies, his experience will be invaluable to the operations of the company.”

Mr Gebbie stated that: “I was attracted to Jatenergy due to its ability to find projects in the energy and technology space. These sectors have significant growth trajectories and a company like Jatenergy that has nurtured its projects should find uplift in this current positive market.”

He continued: “The divestments of Katingan and Jongkang, prove that their actions are true to their words of the mantra ‘acquire, develop and divest’.”

Ian Gebbie (BBA BCOM (Accounting) CA)

Ian Gebbie is a director of Wentworth Global Capital Finance Pty Limited and has nearly 15 years of corporate advisory and accounting experience in both Australia and the UK. Ian has a background in equity capital markets and mergers & acquisitions with a specialisation in the provision of advisory services.

He has been involved in a number of initial public offerings and subsequent fundraising activities with a core focus on junior mining and exploration companies. Ian works closely with a number of listed and unlisted resources and energy companies and has recently assisted Tellus Resources Limited in the implementation of their acquisition strategy. He is also a Director of Force Resources Pty Limited, a private gold explorer that recently acquired a large exploration asset in Indonesia. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
