The MICROBUS system, a product of the Berlin based software company, IVU Traffic Technologies AG, supports the scheduling and deployment of vehicles and personnel for transportation companies. Currently, it is being utilised by more than 150 customers throughout Europe. During 2001 alone, more than 20 large transportation companies decided to use this system. The contract, with a total volume of about 2.5 million Euro over a three year period, has now been signed. The decisive reasons for DB Regio to buy our system, was the modern system architecture of MICROBUS, its modular concept and the project competencies of the IVU team. IVU competed and won against strong national and international competition, and has now further strengthened the leadership position of MICROBUS in Europe.
