The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– IVU Traffic Technologies AG Revenue increased and results improved in first half-year+++Sales forecast stable Berlin, 28th August, 2002: In the first half-year of 2002, IVU Traffic Technologies AG (WKN 744 850) obtained sales amounting to 11.1 mil Euro (first half-year of 2001: 6.8 mil Euro), thus in-creasing it by 64% compared to last year. The contributions of the business segments are as follows: Public Transport 6.9 mil Euro (2001: 4.5 mil Euro), Transport Logistics 1.5 mil Euro (2001: 0.9 mil Euro), Information Logistics 2.7 mil Euro (2001: 1.4 mil Euro). The foreign share is 21% of the total revenues. Due to the seasonal business trend, the EBIT (minus 3.6 mil Euro, 2001: minus 6.0 mil Euro) and net loss of the year (minus 3.3 mil Euro, 2001: minus 6.0 mil Euro) are negative as expected, however significantly better than those of the previous year. The EBIT of the second quarter of 2002 alone is already positive, amounting to 811 thousand Euro. In view of an order volume of a good 25 mil Euro, IVU anticipates for the second half-year a continuing stable business with an increased turnover according to the seasonal trend.
