Appointment of Independent Non-Executive Director

The IVE Group Limited (IVE) Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Andrew Bird as an Independent Non-executive Director of IVE effective 1 April, 2022.

Mr Bird has extensive financial, operational and strategic experience acquired from a 30 year executive career in consulting, strategy, digital and investment roles primarily in Australia.

Following the earlier part of his career in management consulting with Booz, Allen and Hamilton, he joined CCH, a multi-national listed publishing company and ran one of their business units in Australia. In 1997 Mr Bird co-founded Aspect Huntley. This business was acquired by Morningstar in 2006 and Andrew was appointed CEO for Australia and New Zealand. In 2010 Andrew established his own family investment firm with a focus on private equity and early stage investments in technology and information businesses.

Mr Bird currently holds a number of directorships that include: Chair of Sharesight – an online investment admin platform for self-directed investors, Director, LegalVision – an innovative online law firm and Director, Allette Systems – a developer of web-based enterprise content management software.

Commenting on the appointment, Geoff Selig, Executive Chairman said “I am really pleased that Andrew has accepted our invitation to join the IVE Board. His skills and expertise across financial, digital and strategic disciplines as well as his experience as an angel investor will be a welcome addition to the Board.
