Mike Clasper to step down as Non-Executive Director of ITV

Mike Clasper, Non-Executive Director of ITV, is leaving the board at the end of 2013 after eight years' service.

During his time on the board Mike served as Chairman of the Audit Committee and as a Member of both the Remuneration Committee and Audit Committee and since 2010 as Senior Independent Director.

Archie Norman, Chairman of ITV, commented:

"Mike has been a sheet anchor of wisdom for the board throughout the troubled times at ITV and a great supporter of the transformation in the last four years. The fact that ITV is as strong as it is today owes much to his courage and support."

Mike Clasper said:

"It has been a privilege to be on the board of ITV as Archie and Adam have led the transformation of the business. I will watch eagerly the next few years as ITV grows into a great global entertainment company."
