Lovisenberg hospital chooses Itera as strategic IT partner

Lovisenberg hospital chooses Itera as strategic IT partner

Oslo, 20th October 2014: Lovisenberg hospital has

chosen Itera as a strategic IT partner. Itera will

complement the hospital's own IT department, so that

the internal resources to an even larger extent are

able to support the hospital's various departments in

creating good patient experiences. The agreement

includes modernization and operation of the hospital's

IT infrastructure and applications, and has a duration

of 3 years.

Lovisenberg hospital has previously held a number of

IT partners, and has now gone through a process to

consolidate all services and deliveries to fewer

suppliers.

- We are looking forward to working with Lovisenberg

Hospital. We will provide the hospital with the best

possible support through expertise in digitalization

in general and in health care, patient solutions,

privacy and security in particular. We look forward to

working closely and with a long-term perspective, says

Jon Erik Høgberg, EVP in Itera Norway.

- With Itera as one of our strategic partners in the

development and operation of IT and digital services,

we can powerfully focus on the development of the

Patients' Hospital. We face an exciting time of growth

and extended responsibilities, where user friendly,

secure and stable IT solutions are important, says

Torger Ødegaard, executive director of Lovisenberg

Hospital.
