ITALMOBILIARE DIVENTA PARTNER DEL GRUPPO ISEO CON UNA QUOTA DEL 40%

Ulteriore diversificazione degli investimenti con l'allargamento del portafoglio al settore meccanico hi-tech attraverso un marchio italiano di eccellenza nella sicurezza perimetrale e controllo degli accessi.

Milano, 24 luglio 2018 – Italmobiliare, dopo le operazioni in Tecnica e Caffè Borbone, prosegue nel percorso di diversificazione dei propri investimenti in società italiane di eccellenza. Con un accordo raggiunto con le famiglie Facchinetti e Faustini, Italmobiliare entrerà con una quota del 40% nel capitale di Iseo, uno dei principali produttori europei di soluzioni meccatroniche e digitali per il controllo e la sicurezza degli accessi. Il closing dell'accordo è previsto entro il prossimo autunno ed è soggetta alle autorizzazioni da parte delle competenti autorità antitrust.

Iseo, che opera in un settore con significativi tassi di crescita, ha registrato nel 2017 un fatturato in crescita a circa 145 milioni di euro, con tre quarti dei ricavi realizzati sui mercati internazionali e un margine EBITDA di oltre il 12%. Iseo, che ha sede nella provincia di Brescia, opera infatti oltre che con 3 impianti situati in Italia (dove è secondo player di mercato) anche attraverso siti produttivi in Romania, Francia, Germania e Spagna.

Obiettivo di questa operazione è supportare il gruppo Iseo nel consolidamento della presenza nel settore dei prodotti a componente meccanica e nel contempo dare ulteriore impulso allo sviluppo del segmento elettronico, attualmente in forte crescita.

Nell'operazione Italmobiliare è stata assistita da Roland Berger come consulente di business mentre New Deal Advisors e DLA Piper hanno seguito rispettivamente la due diligence finanziaria e quella legale.

Iseo è stata assistita da Fabrizio Felter (Studium 19.12).

ITALMOBILIARE BECOMES A PARTNER OF THE ISEO GROUP WITH A 40% SHARE

Further investment diversification with the expansion of the portfolio into the hi-tech mechanical sector through an Italian brand of excellence in the access control and security devices sector.

Milan, July 24, 2018 – After the operations with Tecnica and Caffè Borbone, Italmobiliare continues to diversify its investments in Italian companies of excellence. As the result of an agreement with the Facchinetti and Faustini families, Italmobiliare is to acquire a 40% equity interest in Iseo, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of digital and mechatronic solutions for the access control and security devices. Closing is expected to take place by the fall, subject to approval by the Antitrust authorities.

Active in a sector with significant growth rates, in 2017 Iseo reported increased revenue totaling approximately 145 million euro, with international sales accounting for around three quarters of turnover and EBITDA margin of more than 12%. Iseo is headquartered in the province of Brescia and, in addition to its three facilities in Italy (where it is the second-largest player on the market), has production sites in Romania, France, Germany and Spain.
