Board Change

Itaconix (AIM: ITX) (OTCQB: ITXXF), a leading innovator in sustainable plant-based polymers used to decarbonise everyday consumer products, is pleased to announce changes to the Board.

Paul LeBlanc is appointed to the Board as an independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee with immediate effect. He is Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Bemis Associates Inc. ("Bemis"), a global manufacturer of specialty films and adhesives for the apparel and industrial markets. He joined Bemis in 1999 as Controller and assumed increasing levels of responsibility during Bemis' rapid growth into a global manufacturer, including overseeing the acquisition and integration of operations in Europe and Asia. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Thomas College and his Master of Business Administration from University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.

In addition, Dr. Peter Nieuwenhuizen, the Company's Non-Executive Interim Chair, who joined the Board in July 2022, now takes the role of Non-Executive Chair on a permanent basis and with immediate effect.

The Board now comprises Dr. Peter Nieuwenhuizen (Non-Executive Chair), Paul LeBlanc (Non-Executive Director), John R. Shaw (Chief Executive Officer), and Laura Denner (Chief Financial Officer).
